First Year Seedlings

Below are six first-year intersectional seedlings from the Class of 2001.  All of my seedlings are planted in separate 4" plastic pots and grown under artificial lights. After wintering over in a refrigerator, they are transplanted to 6" pots prior to their second year of growth which is also indoors under artificial lights.

First year seedlings (bottom row) are grown in separate 4" pots. Second year seedlings (top row) are repotted to separate 6" pots soon after they are removed from cold storage.
